Pascagoula River Audubon Center

The Pascagoula River Audubon Center, along with a Vibrant Communities Grant from Chemours, is your one-stop shop for native plants and shrubs. Check out our online inventory of plants to add to your landscape that will surely attract all varieties of birds, butterflies and beneficial insects as part of National Audubon’s Plants for Birds initiative.

Due to COVID19 closure, our spring native plant sale is being conducted online. The native plants we have to offer have been growing in our on-site green house since early January. The plants were potted by Audubon staff and volunteers from the Jackson County Master Gardeners and cared for by staff and volunteers. These hearty and healthy plants and shrubs are ready to be placed in your landscape to offer color and food for insects and birds.

We are excited to announce that the Native Plant Sale WILL TAKE PLACE, but will be online sales and curbside pickup as we follow the guidelines of Shelter in Place and Social Distancing.  This site will allow you to peruse the native plants and shrubs we have to offer, make your purchase online, and select a pick up time that is convenient for you.

Once you make your purchase through our online portal, you will choose the date and time of the curbside pickup of your plants and shrubs.  Please drive into the Center path and turn to the right where you will see the Chemours Native Nursery.  A staff member will be on-hand to load your order.

NOTE: To ensure proper social distancing, all sales must be made online in advance of pickup.
